2nd / 3rd Year Apprentice
2nd / 3rd Year Apprentice positions available immediately. Successful candidate will be self-motivated, and possess effective communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. Experience in residential and commercial applications is an asset. Clean G Drivers License required. Must be a Member in good standings with the Ontario College of Trades.
Successful candidate must be able to:
- Demonstrate an ability to read blueprints and manufacturer’s literature and troubleshoot related electrical problems
- Install wiring and electrical components in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Code and Electrical Safety Authority codes and standards
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment
- Maintain records and submit in a timely manner
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and OEC/ESA code
